Questions people ask.

Still not sure this is the one? Describe your situation and we’ll tell you what you need, or when you need a real lawyer.

No jargon, no upsell.

How is this different from terms of use?
Terms of use govern using your website. Terms and conditions of sale govern the transaction: the order, the payment, delivery and returns. If you sell, you want both.
Do I need these to sell online?
You should have them. They set the contract for each sale and make your obligations and your customers' rights clear, which prevents most disputes before they start.
Is it free?
Yes. Free to generate, email to download, no subscription.
Do they cover subscriptions or a marketplace?
Yes. Turn on the subscription option for recurring payments, or the marketplace option if buyers and sellers transact through you, and the relevant clauses are added.
Do they deal with the Australian Consumer Law?
Yes. Consumer guarantees cannot be contracted out of, so the terms are written around them rather than against them.
